WDS-ECR Network Now Established!

Early Career Researchers and Scientists (collectively 'ECRs') now have their own network for data sharing and data stewardship. Indeed, the WDS-ECR Network has been established. Its role is to help foster better communication among ECRs, design activities targeting ECRs interests and concerns, and share ideas on how ECRs can best shape their role for future data sharing.

Interested in data stewardship, data sharing, and the roles of ECR in the data revolution? Then, this Network is specifically for you! If you are keen to become involved in WDS endeavours and would like to contribute to the development of ‘next-generation’ data practices, please contact the WDS International Programme Office to find out more about joining the WDS-ECR Network.

Want to share your experiences of data management, data collection, and your role using data? You are highly encouraged to participate in our session entitled 'The role of Early Career Researchers and Scientists in the Data Revolution' at SciDataCon 2018, part of International Data Week (5–8 November 2018; Gaborone, Botswana). The Call for Abstracts for SciDataCon 2018 is now open until 25 June 2018.
